Capacity Building
Hosted a Public Speaking Workshop in partnership with NDLEA, sharpening members’ advocacy and communication skills.

Community Engagement
Partnered with NDLEA Cross River Command for a roadside sensitization program in Ikot‑Ansa.

Drug-Free Sensitization
Collaborated with 13 Brigade, Nigerian Army, on a one‑day Drug‑Free Sensitization at the Soldiers Club, Akim Barracks.

School Outreach
Delivered interactive drama and lecture sessions at Army Day Secondary School, Ikot‑Ansa, educating 11–18 year‑olds on peer pressure and the dangers of drug abuse.

NYSC Drug-Free CDS Group Participates in NDLEA Road Walk for World Drug-Free Week 2025
To mark World Drug-Free Week 2025, the NYSC Drug-Free CDS group actively participated in a sensitization road walk with the NDLEA on June 26. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness and strengthen advocacy against drug abuse within the community. The event promoted drug abuse awareness and encouraged youth involvement in the fight against substance misuse.

Market Sensitization
Engaged with market men and women at Marian market to raise awareness against drug abuse, share useful information, and promote positive practices that support a healthier and safer community.

School Sensitization
Engaged with students at Army Day Secondary School, 13 Brigade Army Barracks, Akim, to raise awareness against drug abuse, share useful information about peer pressure and the dangers of drug abuse.
